| Moving a world from a server to your computer.
- Shutdown the server. McMyAdmin users can use the stop button ont he panel. Other users can use PuTTY. See How to start/stop/restart/update your server on how to shutdown your server.
- Log into your server using WinSCP. See our Using WinSCP page for how to use it.
- Go into the minecraft folder. (sometimes called mcmyadmin)
- Rightclick on the world folder and rightclick Custom Commands > Tar/GZip. That will compress your world into a tgz file.

- Start your server back up (optional)
- Drag the new archive.tgz (or what you named it) to your computer.
- Once it's on your computer. Rightclick the file and extract it. 7zip, Winrar or Winzip might be nessesary to uncompress the file.
